      Description

The description of this issue was copied from upstream GUACAMOLE-105, where the issue was originally reported prior to being prioritized at Glyptodon. The issue has already been completed and merged. This issue has been created retroactively to track that past effort.

Comments, attachments, related issues, etc. have not been copied and can be found instead at the original issue.

The new file transfer mechanism implemented by GUACAMOLE-44 uses a temporary iframe to initiate the download of the file, cleaning up that iframe once the file stream has completed. There is no guarantee that the browser will actually have started downloading or saving the file at that point, however, and removing the iframe element from the DOM prior to saving causes the download to be canceled.

Due to the nature of the timing involved, smaller files have a higher chance of failure.
